End Suffering

Pain is inevitable
Suffering is optional

In every form there is emptiness
With every rise comes a fall
With every beginning there is an ending

Life is transient
Nothing stays the same
Only the changing nature of life is unchanged

You are the boundless ocean,
Mistaken as the waves
You are the clear sky,
Mistaken as the clouds
You are pure consciousness,
Mistaken as fleeting thoughts and emotions

Cultivate non-desire
From it stems spontaneity and effortless action
In doing so be one with nature

Cultivate desire
Only to end suffering
In doing so enrich your soul
